Signed a number of trade agreements between Russia and Syria

Russia and Syria signed a number of trade agreements at the end of the meeting of the two countries' joint committee in Damascus, particularly in the field of exploration and extraction of hydrocarbons.
In addition to the trade agreements, the Road Map for Industry Cooperation was signed between the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Syrian Ministry of Industry.
An agreement was also signed between Stankin Russian Technical University and the Syrian Baath University on the preparation of cadres.
The meeting was chaired by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov and Syrian Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem.
Borisov stressed that the documents signed today aimed at rebuilding the Syrian economy, noting that Syria suffered enormous losses during the war on terrorism.
The Russian delegation to Damascus, headed by Yuri Borisov, included Russian Ambassador to Damascus Alexander Yevimov, Russian President's Special Envoy to the Middle East and African Countries, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and Deputy Ministers of Industry, Trade, Energy and Health.
