The Director of Traffic and Transportation Engineering in Damascus, Eng. Yasser Bastouni revealed that the workshops of the Directorate in cooperation with the concerned directorates in the governorate carried out a wide campaign to remove unauthorized violations and occupations of stalls, iron barriers, tires and all that hinder the traffic of cars in the streets and hinder pedestrian traffic on the sidewalks The Abbasids and even the Qaboun complex.

He pointed out that there are many complaints from citizens, drivers and cars about excesses on the sidewalks and streets in the mentioned areas causing traffic congestion and blocking pedestrians on the sidewalks and distorting the public view, pointing out that the Directorate is following any complaint registered and processed in accordance with regulations and laws.
