The Syrian Commission for Real Estate Supervision has launched the real estate appraisal course titled "Real Estate Appraisal: From Theoretical Basics to Practical Application" for the Eastern Region. Held at the Engineers Syndicate, Raqqa Branch, this marks the first time such a course has taken place in the region following the blessed liberation. The initiative falls under the Commission's plan to expand real estate appraisal activities and increase the number of certified experts in the eastern regions.In Attendance:Eng. Mohammad Al-Hamoud Al-Salameh, welcomed the attendees and expressed his gratitude to everyone who contributed to launching this course, highlighting that it is the first of its kind following the blessed liberation. He stressed the vital importance of this course for the Eastern Region, which suffers from an acute shortage of licensed real estate appraisal experts. He emphasized the region's urgent need for appraisal professionals, particularly during the current phase of reconstruction, building a modern Syria, and assessing damages, as well as attracting foreign investments and determining the correct and fair value of lands.Furthermore, the President of the Syrian Engineers Syndicate underscored that real estate appraisal is a highly developed scientific and intellectual profession. Its impact extends to facilitating financing and investment processes, providing investors with a clear vision regarding land prices, mitigating risks, and assisting in identifying profitable and significant opportunities. He noted that the most critical aspect of attending the course and receiving a certificate is the continuous development of expertise, the refinement of skills in the field of appraisal, and placing this knowledge at the service of the nation. He also reiterated the unique and qualitative significance of this particular course for the Eastern Region, which requires immense support to rise again, rebuild, and utilize all available local expertise.Following the opening remarks, the first day's activities commenced with two lectures. The first lecture was delivered by real estate appraisal expert Eng. Ali Al-Ali Al-Saleh, while the second was presented by real estate appraisal expert Eng. Radwan Haj Hassan.Notably, the course will run for 5 days, featuring a diverse mix of theoretical lectures and practical applications, which includes solving questions from previous examination sessions. Upon completion of the course, trainees will receive an official certificate of attendance
